In the episode, Min-ju was overjoyed to discover that it was Yong-ju who saved his life six years ago, calling it “an unbelievable connection”. However, Yong-ju’s distant reaction left Min-ju confused. Sensitive to Yong-ju’s changing emotion, Min-ju found himself unsettled by her cold behaviour.
Despite this, Min-ju did not gave up. He humorously followed the brewery team, talking about Yong-ju throughout the day. Yet, Yong-ju’s cold behaviour did not change, which made Min-ju tell Yong-ju, “If you ask me to wait, I will wait. Just don’t push me away.” His openness and courage to face emotions he once feared showed his inner transformation and maturity.
The episode also revealed Yong-ju’s situation six years ago, on why she was seen with sorrow expression in the hospital after saving Min-ju. Six years ago, when Yong-ju was saving Min-ju, she got a call from her grandmother, but she could not accept the call, since her phone fell while she was trying to get Min-ju out of his car. After she saved him, she went back to her home and found her grandmother fainted on the ground. On taking her to the hospital, she found that she has developed a semi-permanent disability since she was late in taking her to the hospital.
After knowing what Yong-ju went through, Min-ju felt guilty. He decided to distant himself from others. However, when Yong-joo misunderstood his brief disappearance as abandonment and desperately searched for him, Min-joo realized her true feelings for him. Overwhelmed, he held her close and gently kissed her, promising never to leave her side. This tender moment left viewers’ hearts racing.

The episode 8 of “Brewing Love” will air today at 10 PM (KST) on ENA and will be available shortly to stream on Viki (availability vary by region).
