Will Park Shin-hye Die in Episode 13 of “Judge from Hell”?

In the SBS Friday-Saturday drama, “Judge from Hell”, the fate of its lead character, Kang Bit-na (played by Park Shin-hye), is up in the air as the story heads towards its final episodes. The series is known for its unpredictable twists, so it has kept the viewers on edge when it teased the potential death of Bit-na.

In episode 12, Bit-na was able to uncover the identities of the serial killer “J” and the mysterious figure called “Satan” (played by Park Ho-san). She managed to send Satan back to hell, but came across unexpected trouble when the powerful demon, Bael (played by Shin Sung-rok) appeared and demanded her to release “J” and kill him herself. If she refused, Bael warned her of horrific fate.

However, we know that Kang Bit-na – or should we say – demon Justitia, is no longer the same. She has developed many human emotions, such as being empathetic towards pain and anger of the victims’ families. So, she must make a difficult choice to either choose to continue on her dark path or step into a new path by letting “J” punished by the law and possibly sacrifice her own life.

The preview of Episode 13 which was shown at the end of Episode 12 has heightened the anticipation. In the clip, we saw that she did try to release “J”, however, in later scene, we saw Oh Mi-ja shouting and asking help from Han Da-on that, “She is going to die”, and later we see Bit-na bleeding and collapsing after being attacked, with Han Da-on desperately holding her, pleading, “Don’t die! Please”. This scene left the viewers worried about Bit-na’s survival.

The episode 13 of “Judge from Hell” will air tonight at 10 PM (KST) on SBS. And later available to stream on Disney+ for global audience.
