The light novel “Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!” is being adapted for an anime series and is set to debut in January 2025. It is a reverse isekai story, which means instead of being transmigrated to the fantasy world, the protagonist is transmigrated to the real world – Japan.

As mentioned above, it is based on the light novel with the same name. It is written by Makishima Suzuki, illustrated by Yappen and published in Japan by Hobby Japan under their HJ Novels imprint. J-Novel Club publishes the English version for the light novel as well as the manga adaptation by Shimo Aono.
