JTBC’s weekend drama “The Tale of Lady Ok” is capturing attention with its unique storyline and engaging characters. In episode 6, which aired on December 22, we see the return of the grown-up Sung Do-gyeom (played by Kim Jae-won), a once-young boy who admired his sister-in-law, Ok Tae-young (played by Lim Ji-yeon), since childhood.
Alongside Do-gyeom is Cha Mi-ryeong (played by Yeon Woo), a mysterious woman with a bold and kind-hearted nature, who unexpectedly gets involved in Ok Tae-young’s secretive life.
Sung Do-gyeom, who had always looked up to Ok Tae-young, admired her intelligence and courage when she stood against injustice as a young woman. Even after she became his sister-in-law, he trusted and followed her like a mother figure. Now, as a young man, he returns home with a dignified presence, showing both his gratitude and loyalty to Ok Tae-young.
The images from the episode shows Do-gyeom embracing Ok Tae-young warmly, his tall stature and bright demeanour reflecting the deep bond they share. Meanwhile, Cha Mi-ryeong makes her first appearance as a determined young woman from a distant village. Her sharp eyes and confident personality hint at a bigger role in uncovering the truth about Ok Tae-young’s hidden past.
With her selfless nature and quick wit, Cha Mi-ryeong not only catches Tae-young’s attention but also sparks an interest in Sung Do-gyeom. The drama teases a potential romance between Mi-ryeong and Do-gyeom, as well as the unfolding mystery of Mi-ryeong’s true identity.
The next episode of “The Tale of Lady Ok” will air on December 28 on JTBC and will be soon available to stream on Apple TV, WeTV, KOCOWA+ etc., depending on your region.
