Yang Hye-ji

In KBS 2TV’s weekend drama “Iron Family”, Baek Ji-yeon (played by Kim Hye-eun) and Go Bong-hee (played by Park Ji-young) find out that Cha Tae-woong (played by Choi Tae-joon) is actually biological son of Ji Seung-don (played by Shin Hyun-joon) and slap him, surprising everyone. In “Iron Family” episode 14, Seo Gang-ju (Kim Jung-hyun) found a bundle of cash in Seung-don’s room, which he quickly hid before his father could see it. Gang-ju then told his mother, Ji-yeon, that Kim Sung-hoon (Park Sung-hyun) was dangerous and told her that he will retrieve the money himself. Gang-ju became suspicious when he finds the money from Lee Mu-rim (Kim Hyun-joon) had matching serial numbers to Ji-yeon’s missing cash. Seung-don later took the money from Mu-rim as a wedding gift to Bong-hee at her laundry. Bong-hee was hurt by Mu-rim’s secretive behaviour, but Seung-don seemed more interested in the delivered noodles than her feelings, adding humour to the scene. Meanwhile, Gang-ju was supporting Lee Da-rim (Geum Sae-rok) in her assistant role, but got into a conflict with Da-rim’s sister, Lee Cha-rim (Yang Hye-ji), who was designing pants but overstepped her role by designing tops. He scolded Cha-rim for this, but Cha-rim was enraged by him and announced that she will resign. Da-rim overheard their conversation and once Cha-rim left, she tried to defend her sister by saying that she is just trying to reach higher in the company. Gang-ju was touched to see that Da-rim came to him, instead of her sister and confessed his feelings to her, saying, “I have a crush on you”. Da-rim responded, “Do whatever you want”, leaving him surprised by not denying his feelings. On the other hand, Ji-yeon finds a suspicious message from No Ae-ri (played by Jo Mi-ryung) on Seung-don's phone. Thinking that he is having an affair, Ji-yeon checked his car’s and discovered that he is having a secret child. Meanwhile, Tae-woong (Choi Tae-joon) learns that his mother is very ill from her caretaker. So, he packs up to leave but then Bong-hee enters his room and discovers a paternity report in a Seung-don’s envelope, confirming his relationship with Seung-don. Shocked, Bong-hee leaves to confront Seung-don. Ji-yeon, who pieced everything together, burst into the office of Seung-don and slaps him, asking if he had a son hidden. Da-rim, standing outside the office, overhears their confrontation and was shocked. Soon, Bong-hee storms into Seung-don’s office and tries to slap Seung-don on his left cheek but he defends himself, but then she slaps him on the other cheek. She also confronts him about Tae-woong after this. The episode ends with Seung-don holding both of his hands on his cheeks, adding humour to the tense scene. Since Seung-don’s secrets are now revealed, viewers are eager to see what his next move will be and what lies ahead for Tae-woong, as he departed to meet his sick mother.
