The highly anticipated and popular anime “Solo Leveling -Arise from the Shadow-” which is season 2 for the anime series, is set to air in January 2025. Aniplex have just released a new trailer for the anime series. They have also revealed new poster and visuals for the season 2.
A special screening for the season 1 and the preview for season 2’s 1 & 2 episodes will be happening in Japan on November 29, 2024. The anime series is based on the popular manhwa “Solo Leveling” by Chugong, which concluded on December 29, 2021.

Synopsis:
It has been over a decade since mysterious “gates” connecting other dimensions to our world began appearing. These gates are home to dangerous monsters, leading to a constant battle between them and humans known as “Hunters”, who possess extraordinary abilities. Typically, once Hunters awaken their powers, their rank remains the same and they do not gain strength.
However, Shun Mizushino (Sung Jin-woo), a low-rank Hunter deemed the weakest weapon of humanity, gains the unique ability to “level up” during a raid in a double dungeon. As he fights, he grows stronger.
After completing a job quest, Shun earns the class of “Shadow Monarch”, allowing him to command shadow soldiers. He hopes of curing his sick mother who is suffering from a disease which does not have a cure yet, so he embarks on a new quest to find the “Elixir of Life”, which can cure anyone from anything.
The anime series will start airing from January next year. You can watch preview screening on November 29th which will premiere the first two episodes from the second season in Japan.
