The killer of the real Kang Bit-na was also revealed.

One year ago, Kang Bit-na had discovered a hidden room in Jung Tae-gyu’s house which exposed his dark secrets. Shockingly, it was revealed that Jung Tae-gyu manipulated his brother, Jung Seon-ho, into killing Kang Bit-na, offering drugs as an incentive.

Shortly after, Jung Tae-gyu deceived Jung Seon-ho, who called him in a panic, by saying, “I’ll send someone to help”. After the call is ended, he coldly muttered, “I should have killed him along with his mother back then”, while looking at his father.

Serial “J” is Finally Caught:

Jung Seon-ho (younger brother of Jung Tae-gyu), who was presumed dead and even had a funeral, suddenly returned and announced his intension of confessing about everything. This threw the police into chaos. When the news was reported to Jung Tae-gyu, he was infuriated and grabbed the legal team chief by his collar and demanded, “Bring him to me immediately”. In his rage, he went even as far as hitting the chief’s face.

Attempting to escape abroad, Jung Tae-gyu held a forged passport and ticket arranged by his father. However, he hallucinated, seeing his father aiming a gun at his head. The vision dissipated, revealing Jung Tae-gyu crawling toward his father, who had stabbed himself in the thigh and disappeared. Overcome with frustration, he screamed in despair.

Finally, it was unveiled that Jung Tae-gyu was also the serial killer “J”, who had murdered Han Da-on’s family and even killed Kim So-young (played by Kim Hye-hwa), who had taken care of Han like a mother. Disguised as a gas meter reader with a friendly smile, he entered Han Da-on’s house, then mercilessly attacked Kim So-young with a hand axe, leaving viewers in shock.

After a high-stakes chase with Han Da-on, Jung Tae-gyu was arrested and brought to trial before Kang Bit-na. In the preview for the next episode, Kang Bit-na proposes, “Let’s make a deal”, staring Jung Tae-gyu, stirring anticipation among viewers for what’s to come.
