Netflix has recently released their report of the most watched contents in the first half of the year 2024. It includes reports from every country they serve. “Queen of Tears” K-drama was able to reach 14th rank overall in the list, also making it the most viewed Korean drama.
Their report includes the data the number of views each content obtained as well as the number of hours each content was watched.
“Queen of Tears” was able to attract 29 million viewers, while the other K-dramas – “Parasite: The Gray” and “My Demon” attracted 25 million and 18 million viewers, respectively.
The Korean-drama “Queen of Tears” features actors – Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won as lead. It is written by Park Ji Eun who is known for writing several hit shows.
The synopsis for this series is:
“The series depicts the crisis and rekindling of love between Hong Hae-in, a third-generation chaebol heiress of Queens Group, and Baek Hyun-woo, the son of farmers from Yongdu-ri, and their three years of marriage”.
