K-pop group PURPLE KISS is making their comeback today, after seven months of their previous release with seventh mini-album “HEADWAY”. Their new album contains even more witch-themed concept, similar to their previous works.
Their new album features the title track “ON MY BIKE“, a hip-hop dance song with a bold message about forging your own path despite life’s regrets and hopes. The track is driven by heavy guitar riffs and a gritty beat, with lyrics co-written by member Suan.
In addition to the title track, “HEADWAY” includes a total of five songs. Among them is “Sweet Nightmare“, a song composed by member Na Go-eun, which expresses a desire to stay lost in a sweet dream forever. Another notable track, “Light the Way“, is a fan song dedicated to their followers, known as PLORY, with Suan and Yuki contributing to the lyrics.
The album’s concept continues to explore the witch universe, with PURPLE KISS portraying six witches who reject societal norms and unapologetically reveal their desires. Their fierce image is enhanced in the music video, which features dark, powerful choreography.
“HEADWAY” is set to be released on major streaming platforms today at 6 PM (KST).
