ONE PIECE was about to release the Special Edited Version for its “Fishman Island Arc” from 27th October 2024. This was announced due to the current hiatus of the “ONE PIECE” anime, which will last until April 2025. However, now the broadcast for the special version of “Fishman Island Arc” has been delayed until 3rd November 2024.
On October 21, Fuji TV announced an important schedule change due to the Los Angeles Dodgers’ victory over the New York Mets. This win secured the Dodgers a spot in the World Series for the first time in four years. To celebrate and broadcast this event, Fuji TV has decided to air all the games of the World Series live on free-to-air television.
The Dodgers will face the American League champions, the New York Yankees, in this year’s World Series. While this will be the Dodgers’ 8th time competing for the title, it will be the first for their star player Shohei Ohtani and pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto as they aim to win the championship.
However, due to this decision, the broadcast for “ONE PIECE” Fishman Island Arc has been delayed. The episode will be broadcasted on November 3, when the world series concludes.
The production team has apologized on social media for the delay and thanked the fans for their patience and encouraged them to tune in for the new date.
This version of the “Fishman Island Arc” will include 21 episodes instead of 57 episodes. They have updated the visuals to include sharper lines and improved lightning to create more immersive experience. The revised arc is meant to keep the fans entertained until the next major arc begins, which is scheduled for April next year.
