Actors Ma Dong-seok and Park Hyung-sik are confirmed to star in LG Uplus’s global project “Twelve” from the content studio STUDIO X+U. The series “Twelve” is a action-fantasy series inspired by the Eastern concept of the twelve zodiac deities.
It tells the story of twelve deities living in the human world, who take on human forms to protect humanity from evil spirits. The series will show the massive battle against the forces of evil who want to awaken their sealed powers.
In “Twelve”, Ma Dong-seok is set to portray as Taesan, the leader of the twelve deities, symbolizing the tiger.
Park Hyung-sik will play the role of Ogui, an evil force awakened after being sealed for thousands of years. Ogui, who is symbolized by a crow, returns to brings chaos to the world. The story is about how the twelve deities will return to fight against the evil force led by Ogui.
The series will provide a mix of Eastern and Western elements, reviving the ancient folktales of the twelve zodiac deities in a modern setting. “Twelve” shows how the twelve zodiac deities sacrificed long ago to seal the powers of evil and were able to bring peace, but the chaos returned when the evil spirits were able to awaken again.
