Episode 7 of “Light of My Lion”:
In this episode, journalist Kaede (Yuki Sakurai) unexpectedly visits the Komori family, asking Hirato about a rumour that Aiko (Machiko Ono) lied about killing her son, who might still be alive and hiding in their home. Hirato manages to keep the truth hidden for now, but the growing media attention threatens to expose their secret.

Meanwhile, Shogo (Osamu Mukai), who is convinced that Aiko would never harm her son Shuto (aka Lion), releases details about Shuto to the media, asking the public for help. This increases the pressure on Hirato, who decides to prioritize Lion’s safety. With the help of Mio (Asuka Saito) and Sadamoto (Takuya Okazaki), Hirato plans to leave their home and move to a secluded place with Lion and Michito, calling it a “vacation” to ease Michito’s concerns.

However, trouble arises when Kaede’s junior colleague, Yuma Amane (Takumi Ozaki), publishes an article revealing Lion’s existence without considering the consequences. This betrayal angers Kaede and shocks viewers, who reacted online with comments like “Why did you do that?!” and “I had a bad feeling about this!”
As the truth about Lion slowly comes to light, Shogo makes his way to the Komori home, setting up a tense confrontation.
“Light of My Lion” airs every Friday at 10 PM (JST) on TBS and is available for streaming on Netflix for international viewers.
