In KBS 2TV’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Face Me”, the third episode will provide a deeper look into the sad past of Cha Jung-woo (played by Lee Min-ki), which was the reason why he decided to switch from being an ER doctor to a plastic surgeon.
In the preview images from “Face Me” episode 3, Jung-woo can be seen dressed in a wedding suit, standing nervously beside his former girlfriend, Yoon Hye-jin (played by Ha young) as they share a warm smile. Other images capture him surrounded by reporters, with an intense look, heightening the tension around his backstory.
In “Face Me” episode 3, the reason behind Jung-woo’s unexpected shift from being an ER doctor, focused on saving lives, to a plastic surgeon will finally be revealed. It will shed light on his reluctance to connect emotionally with patients and his unique sensitivity toward crime victims, resolving many mysteries for viewers.
Adding to the intrigue is the dynamic between Jung-woo and Lee Min-hyung (played by Han Ji-hyun), a lively and fearless detective from the MZ generation. Though the two frequently clash, their combined medical and investigative skills allow them to work together in supporting victims, forming a special bond despite their initial differences.
As Jung-woo treats a victim of an acid attack, he is faced with new problems and steps up once more. His actions and words in this situation are expected to leave a strong emotional impact on viewers, making his character’s journey all the more compelling.
