Lee Min-ki Surrounded By Reporters

Lee Min-ki Surrounded By Reporters in “Face Me” Preview Clip

The upcoming KBS 2TV drama “Face Me is set to premiere from 6th November. This new Wednesday-Thursday series follows a story of unexpected teamwork between a cold plastic surgeon – Cha Jung-woo (played by Lee Min-ki) and a passionate detective – Detective Min-hyung (played by Han Ji-hyun), as they work together to uncover the truth behind various crimes through reconstructive surgeries for victims.

In the recently released preview clip of “Face Me”, we see a mysterious man disrupts Jung-woo’s clinic and causes a scene. Despite the chaos, Jung-woo remains unmoved, asserting, “This is a cosmetic surgery clinic. We don’t do reconstructive surgeries here.”

However, things escalate when a disturbing murder occurs, leaving Jung-woo surrounded by reporters, and making viewers wonder what lies ahead for him.

At the centre of the crisis is an emergency surgery Jung-woo is forced to perform in the middle of night, led by Kim Seok-hoon (Jeon Bae-soo), who introduces a trauma patient. Reluctantly, Jung-woo takes the responsibility of supporting the crime victims, marking a turning point in his life. Known for being unaffected by patient emotions, Jung-woo starts piecing together clues from crime scenes, evolving in ways that raise interest in his character’s journey.

Meanwhile, scenes featuring Detective Min-hyung breaking a car window to arrest a suspect reveal her intense energy, effortlessly displaying a sense of charisma. As she and Jung-woo join forces, the stark contrast between Jung-woo’s cold demeanour and Min-hyung’s fiery passion promises an exciting dynamic. The unique chemistry and gripping performances between these two opposites are anticipated by many.

Adding a layer of intrigue, a mysterious voice emerges, asking, “The person who killed my father… Could it be someone with a grudge against you?” This statement, filled with questions, sparks more suspicion, particularly for Min-hyung, who becomes curious about the secrets connecting everyone involved.

KBS 2TV’s “Face Me” will air as the follow-up to Dog Sound, beginning November 6 at 9:50 PM.
