KBS2‘s new drama “Face Me”, set to premiere on November 6 at 9:50 PM (KST), is a medical drama that follows a cold plastic surgeon and an enthusiastic detective from the MZ generation. Together, they investigate the truth behind crimes through reconstructive surgery for victims.

In the show, Lee Min-ki plays Cha Jung-woo, a successful plastic surgeon who can quickly identify issues and solutions just by looking at a patient’s injuries. Lee Yi-kyung plays Han Woo-jin, a skilled surgeon who excels not only in his craft but also in communicating with patients. With strong support from their director, Kim Seok-hoon, they lead KSH Plastic Surgery as the main doctors.
Jung-woo and Woo-jin have a lot in common, from their personalities to their family backgrounds. They grew very close in high school and now share a brotherly bond. Although they’ve grown up together like siblings, they have very different approaches as doctors. Jung-woo is strict and sets clear boundaries with his patients, while Woo-jin wants to bring beauty to all women. Their contrasting chemistry promises to add an interesting dynamic to the show.
As an old case resurfaces, Jung-woo’s life begins to unravel, while Woo-jin tries to support him. Their unique friendship will be a key point in the story. Viewers will be eager to learn why Jung-woo becomes shaken and what resolution Woo-jin comes to as he watches his friend lose his footing.
Released stills show the two actors in their doctor’s gowns and casual clothes, showcasing their distinct styles. Their impressive looks match their skills, capturing attention. In the operating room, they wear surgical gowns and share serious glances, raising curiosity about how their chemistry will develop.
The production team stated, “Lee Min-ki and Lee Yi-kyung are close friends in real life, and their relationship shines through in their characters, creating delightful chemistry. Expect both laughter and heartfelt moments from their strong bromance.”
