In the episode 9 of “Dear Hyeri”, Hyun-oh (played by Lee Jin-wook) realises that Eun-ho (played by Shin Hye-sun) has two different personalities and learns of the existence of Joo Hye-ri, which is the alternate personality of Eun-ho, played by Shin Hye-sun.
In the latest episode, the reason behind rumors of Hyun-oh’s marriage was revealed. Mi-ja, who is Hyun-oh’s adoptive grandmother and suffering from breast cancer, shares her wish with Hyun-oh that she just wishes for him to have a happy family.
Eun-ho misunderstood this and thought Hyun-oh was getting married, which broke her heart. As a result, Eun-ho quit all her programs, leaving viewers feeling sad.
Eun-ho disappeared after writing in her diary, “You even failed at being happy. Now, it’s my turn. I’m Joo Hye-ri.” This suggests that Shin Hye-sun’s character’s alternate personality, Joo Hye-ri, is now taking control.
At the end of the episode, we see Kang Joo-yeon (played Kang Hoon) revealing about the second personality of Eun-ho, Hye-ri, to Hyun-oh. Hyun-oh appears shocked for being ignorant about this side of Eun-ho.
In the newly released still images by ENA, we see Hyun-oh searching for clues about Eun-ho’s whereabouts. In one scene, Hyun-oh visits the parking office at Media N Seoul where Hye-ri used to work, looking urgent as he shows his phone screen to Min-young (played by Oh Kyung-hwa). His desperation clearly shows that the situation has changed.
The production team of My Dearest Harry said, “After learning Eun-ho’s secret, Hyun-oh is overwhelmed with shock. Watch how Hyun-oh’s life undergoes a major change as he deals with his deep regret.”
“Dear Hyeri” airs every Monday-Tuesday on Channel ENA and streams on Viki. The next episode will be available on 21st October 2024 at 10 PM (KST).
