Musician Kim Dong-ryul will soon be releasing a new single, as he dropped hints about it in Lee Juck’s solo concert where has been appearing as a guest for all four of the concerts.
Kim Dong-ryul mentions, “I haven’t been showing my face in the media, but I’ve been continuously preparing at home. It’s been a slow process, but I’m getting there”.
He also talked about how being at the concert of his close friend, Lee Juck, has made him feel like having his own concert soon, saying, “After performing for these four days, I feel motivated to get back to my own performances. Although I can’t make any promises, I hope to do something soon”.
Kim Dong-ryul’s words were met with applause, especially when he teased, “Next week, I’ll be releasing a fresh new song. It would be great if those who attended the concert could give it a listen. I’m glad I got to do some promotion, thanks to Lee Juck”, which resulted in a laughter from the audience.
On October 21, Kim Dong-ryul took to his official social media to share his thoughts and excitement for the upcoming release. He officially announced that his new single, “산책” (Stroll / Walk), will be available on October 27, much to the delight of his fans.
This new release comes approximately 11 months after “After All This Time” from November last year. However, since then, Kim has also released other singles like.
“산책” (Stroll / Walk) is a ballad in Kim’s signature style, running over five minutes and filled with a storytelling melody and lyrics that immerse the listener in its deep emotional tone. According to industry insiders, it’s a traditional Kim Dong-ryul ballad, similar to one of his most popular songs “Reply”.
Looking ahead, “산책” (Stroll / Walk) will be officially released on October 27 at 6 PM (KST).
