Kang-joo Gets Rejected By Da-rim in “Iron Family”

In the weekend KBS 2TV drama “Iron Family”, Gang-ju (Kim Jung-hyun) finally proposes Lee Da-rim (Geum Sae-rok) but is rejected by her, leaving him heartbroken. Later, Baek Ji-yeon (Kim Hye-eun) and her son Kang-joo stormed into a wedding ceremony to confront those who are involved in the stolen money incident.

In the episode 12, Lee Da-rim talks about her new job at Jiseung Group to her sister, Lee Cha-rim (played by Yang Hye-ji). Her new job as the secretary to Ji Seung-don (Shin Hyun-joon) results in mixed reactions within her family, as they worry about her growing responsibilities, including a large dept repayment.

Meanwhile, as Kang-joo discovers about the father-son relationship between Seung-don and Cha Tae-woong (played by Choi Tae-joon), confronts his father and lets him know about his feelings of jealousy due to the resemblance of the two.

Tae-woong opposes Da-rim working at Jiseung Group, at that moment, Gang-ju appears in front of their car and blocks them. Tae-woong gets angry and comes out of his car and gets into a heating argument which leads to a physical fight.

Tae-woong hits Gang-ju in the face, which leads him to fall and bleed from his lips. Da-rim comes to stop their fight. Frustrated, Tae-woong leaves the scene in his car. Looking at the opportunity, Gang-ju confesses to her saying that he was the one who kissed her in the hospital.

After this, Gang-ju proposes her saying that he wants them to have a romantic relationship with her. However, Da-rim refuses him saying that she already likes someone and leaves.

Later, Baek Ji-yeon finds out the stolen money has resurfaced, which was marked with a specific serial number. She confronts Bae Hae-ja (Oh Young-shil), tracking her down at the wedding of Lee Mu-rim (Kim Hyun-joon), the eldest son of the Cheongnyeon Laundry family. The episode ends with Ji-yeon and Gang-ju confronting Hae-ja.

The episode 13 of “Iron Family” will air on 9^th November at 7:55 PM (KST) on KBS 2TV and will later be available to stream on OTT apps, such as Disney+.
