In the upcoming tvN drama “Love Your Enemy”, which will start airing from 23rd November, Joo Ji-hoon and Jung Yu-mi are back together where their characters’ families have been rivals for three generations.
The tvN shared a sneak peek on October 28, showing the unexpected reunion of Seo Ji-won (played by Joo Ji-hoon) and Yoon Ji-won (played by Jung Yu-mi) in their workplace.
“Love Your Enemy” tells the story of two people born on the same day with the same name, one in a family of men and the other in a family of women, both raised with animosity towards each other. After Seo Ji-won leaves his hometown due to family circumstances, Seo Ji-won and Yoon Ji-won cross paths again 18 years later.
The drama is directed by Park Joon-hwa, known for hits like “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?” and “Alchemy of Souls”, and written by Lim Ye-jin, who worked on “The Tale of Nokdu” and “Love in the Moonlight”, raising viewers’ expectations.
In one still, their tense reunion is highlighted, capturing a moment where Seo Ji-won and Yoon Ji-won unexpectedly meet as the head of a school board and a gym teacher. Fans are curious to see what 18 years of tangled history will bring.
In a humorous twist, Yoon Ji-won seems startled by the sight of Seo Ji-won and pinches his cheek, to which Seo Ji-won responds with a shocked expression. As Yoon Ji-won realizes what she’s done, her reaction adds a touch of humour to their intense story, increasing viewers’ anticipation for their dynamic.
The drama “Love Your Enemy” is set to start airing on tvN every Saturday-Sunday from November 23, at 9:20 PM (KST). It will be available for streaming on Viki on select regions.
