Actresses Jeon So-min, Gong Min-jung, and Jang Hee-ryeong have been confirmed to star in the new drama “오늘도 지송합니다” (Today, I’m Sorry Again – literal translation since English name is not announced). KBS Joy has announced their casting, and the show will premiere on Netflix on December 5.
The drama tells the story of Ji-song, played by Jeon So-min, who suddenly finds herself single after a broken engagement. Struggling to pay off her new home loan, she takes on difficult part-time jobs while navigating life in a new city.
In her role, Jeon So-min plays the role of a fake married woman to stand up against the pretentiousness and competitiveness of city norms. She aims to portray the challenging life hidden behind her glamorous facade and the chaotic romance that unfolds in her journey.
Gong Min-jung will be playing the role of Choi Ha-na, a determined working mom who starts her day at 5 AM, embracing a “miracle morning” routine. She meticulously organizes everything in Excel. Choi Ha-na was once Ji-song’s best friend for ten years, but an unspecified incident caused a rift in their friendship, sparking curiosity about what happened between them.
Jang Hee-ryeong plays Ahn Chan-yang, a pottery workshop teacher who carries the ideal image of a city woman. With her delicate figure and flowy skirt, she initially appears to be the picture of sweetness. However, her character is also addicted to social media and possesses a quirky charm, which promises to add liveliness to the drama.
“오늘도 지송합니다” is directed by Min Ji-young, who previously worked on Bitch X Rich, with writer Jo Yoo-jin. The drama is set to air on KBS Joy on December 5.
