Heo Nam-joon Plays Psychiatrist in “When The Phone Rings”

The upcoming drama from MBC TVWhen The Phone Rings”  (Korean: 지금 거신 전화는) has provided stills from the set of Heo Nam-joon’s character, Ji Sang-woo. The drama is based on the popular web novel of the same name on Kakao Page and written by Kim Ji-woon. The drama will start airing from November 2024 on MBC TV.

Other cast from the drama includes Yoo Yeon-seok, Chae Soo-bin and Jang Gyu-ri. It is directed by Park Sang-woo and Wi-Deuk-gyu.

Heo Nam-joon is playing the character, Ji Sang-woo, who is a charming psychiatrist, handsome and have kind personality. He was a former college classmate of Hong Hee-joo (played by Chae Soo-bin) when he volunteered in sign language services. He is also a mystery content creator, having over 200,000 subscribers.

As you would expect, him being close to Hee-joo results in jealousy from Hee-joo’s husband, Baek Sa-eon (played by Yoo Yeon-seok).
