Da-rim Catches Kang-joo Stealing Money in “Iron Family”

In KBS 2TV drama “Iron Family”, Lee Da-rim (played by Geum Sae-rok) catches Seo Kang-joo (played by Kim Jung-hyun) trying to steal the money which is kept inside the bed in the latest episode.

In episode 21 of “Iron Family”, Seo Kang-joo can be seen trying to take the 6.2 billion won hidden under the bed back, however, he is caught by Lee Da-rim. Seeing him sneaking into her house, Da-rim threatens him to beat him with a pan. Feeling cornered, Kang-joo confesses everything about the money.

After realizing that her family decided to use stolen money for her eye surgery, Da-rim is heartbroken and blames herself for her family’s trouble. She holds Kang-joo’s legs and starts requesting, while crying, to not report about this to the police. Hearing weird noises, Cha Tae-woong (Choi Tae-joon) decides to check on what’s happening. Lee Da-rim hears the footsteps of someone coming, hides the money and then hugs Kang-joo tightly to avoid any suspicions.

Meanwhile, the news of No Ae-ri’s (Jo Mi-ryung) sudden death adds to the tension. Cha Tae-woong and Ji Seung-don (Shin Hyun-joon) were deeply remorseful when they meet at the funeral.

The interesting scene of the episode was Da-rim’s nightmare, where she saw that her family was being arrested for the stolen money.

The episode ends with Lee Da-rim packing the remaining money in a bag and take it to Baek Ji-yeon (Kim Hye-eun), Kang-joo’s mother.

In Episode 22, Kang-joo’s quick thinking leads to a funny moment when he lies to cover up Da-rim’s sudden appearance at the hotel, saying they were going on a trip together. Meanwhile, Go Bong-hee (Park Ji-young) gets into a heated argument with Baek Ji-yeon. Things take a dramatic turn when Da-rim’s grandfather, Lee Man-deuk (Park In-hwan), discovers the stolen money is gone and collapses from the shock. The episode ends with Kang-joo comforting Da-rim as she cries over her family’s situation.
