Actor Choi Daniel is confirmed to be making a return to romantic comedies in the upcoming drama “오늘도 지송합니다” (Today, I’m Sorry Again – translated; official English name is not confirm) by the production team, just after confirming the casting of Jeon So-min, Gong Min-jung & Jang Hee-ryeong.
This KBS Joy drama, scheduled to start airing on December 5, features Jeon So-min as Ji-song, a single woman struggling to pay off a loan for her now-unused newlywed home after her engagement is suddenly called off. Ji-song, trying to make ends meet by juggling multiple jobs, moves to a new city to start fresh.
Choi Daniel plays Cha Hyun-woo, a divorce lawyer with a prickly personality, who crosses paths with Ji-song. The contrasting personalities of Choi’s sharp and aloof character with Jeon So-min’s quirky and carefree role are expected to create unexpected chemistry and fun moments.
Today, I’m Sorry Again is written by Jo Yoo-jin, known for the popular summer hit comedy film Pilot, and directed by Min Ji-young, who previously worked on the Netflix series Cheongdam International High School. It is set to premiere on both KBS Joy and Netflix in December this year.
